Quick play

A quick reminder for the table.

1. Deal an equal hand

   Shuffle all 64 Food Cards and deal equal face-down hands. Set leftovers aside face-down. Keep your hand secret and choose a starting player.

2. Pass a dish and make a claim

   Slide a card from your hand face-down to another player and name a dish. Tell the truth or bluff.

3. Say True, Lie, or Look & Pass

   Call the latest claim True or Lie, then reveal the card. Or Look & Pass: you may peek, then pass to someone who hasn’t seen it, keeping or changing the claim. Never return it to the turn starter. The last eligible player must call True or Lie.

4. Keep the revealed card

   Correct call: the last passer takes the card. Wrong call: the receiver takes it. Keep it face-up in front of you, separate from your hand. Whoever takes it starts the next turn.

5. One player loses

   You lose immediately with four of one dish or all eight different dishes face-up. You also lose if you have no card when required to begin your turn. Everyone else wins.
